That is a beautiful sight! A great knife, an interesting steel, and a stunning new look. I've wanted to try out the Cruwear, but wow -- is that C-tek? Or Hex-patterned CF? If that's a Sprint Run, or if those are after-market scales, my question is the same: where do I look? Either way, it very nice. Great photo.:thumbup:

The scales are black G10 with a hex pattern milled into it. Made by Allen Putman, I bought from his site at http://www.bladescales.com, but you can get them from BladeHQ too if I remember correctly.

Thats Sweet! I just took about 30 minutes to give mine the first sharpening. The main goal for this one was extending the edge to the plunge line and getting a crisp apex and not the factory flimsy wire burr.

Looking forward to how this one works out in time! As of now its VERY VERY sharp and it has me wondering why people ever say anything negative towards the super steels...

It touches up nicely on a fine ceramic rod - I always do that after a healthy use of the blade. Hasn't been dull enough yet to take it to the Edge Pro, so I don't know how that will go. But, then again, I may never have to take it to the EPA so long as I hit the ceramic regularly. I'll keep ya' posted...

Here's my brand new Tenacious. With the big prices in Europe, I can't see myself buying many Spydercos or other good knives in the near future. This one is around 70 to 90 euros ( over 100 $ ). Maybe a Native this summer if I am lucky.

But I love this guy, gives me the impression that it will handle anything I throw at him.
