Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

I like your style

Thanks, brother! I got rained out today, though, so no bike and no woods... still got the Manix with me, of course.

I have 2 new bikes coming on Monday, so I hope it's not freakin' raining - I would love to get some more bike and blade pics...

BTW I did get a Manix II, but it's the dark blue one with S110V blade. I prefer that blade steel, but I prefer the translucent blue one you have :)

When I ride, I have a swick that follows me wherever I go. I have the sheath attached to the strap of my pack, it's a pretty sweet setup and I can get it out with lightning speed.

Oh new bikes huh? cool! what do you have coming? I don't think you want to know how much bike stuff I have ;) it's been a long passion of mine way before blades. Do you know Pinkbike.com? I was an editor for them for close to 10 years.

If I'm more than 2 days without riding (which rarely happens unless I'm injured) I'm turn into the grumpiest mother f'er you've ever seen. So my wife appreciates it when I go out on a ride ;) Bikes are awesome....but so are nice blades....so keep the cool bike/blade pics coming my friend.

Cheers!

The Native 5 LW is in the side pocket of my Zoic's daily.
I'll drag some others out and get some shots, the mosquitos will love it. :(

I thought I recognized your username. I go by BikeSatori, but don't post up much at all. Was more active on mtbr and ridemonkey years and years ago.
I usually go with a Salt Saver when on the bike. Works well to cut branches across trail and never rust from sweat or moisture.
I just picked up a 2016 Stumpy FSR Carbon 650B. Hotrodding it just a little bit. Renthal bars and probably do an Onyx rear hub to a Syntace rim... Maybe I'll make a little soft pouch and put my Salt Saver in the swat frame door, haha.

what a small world. so cool to see fellow MTBers here. :) RM used to be cool when it first started but things stared going downhill pretty quickly a few years ago...that's when I stopped going there. I still lurk every once in a while but rarely post. Same for MTBR.....

2016 stumpy - sick! I've owned a few Stumpjumpers - some 26" and some 29ers, but no 650b. Looks like a great bike - I'm sure you will enjoy it.

so to make sure we stay on topic...this is what I carried today. Pic taken in my "bike room"

Frn Native 5 riding on the right side. Just got another one, so we will probably spend a week or so catching up.

All good stuff, brother. And thanks for the compliment - I'll definitely get some pics of the new bikes (with blades, of course)! Anyhow, don't want to hi-jack the thread, so I sent you PM with more about the bikes and riding.

Check ya' later, brother.
Derek...
