Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

A great friend gifted this Spyderco to me a few Months ago and it has been my EDC ever since. As evidenced by the blade it gets used often but remains laser sharp.para2.jpgpara2spy.jpg

Really nice mod there Ken, very sleek looking and to the point now! I didn't know that ZDP would patina as much as that one is showing?

Lol yes I saw that coming;)
I did have a stretch that I had a long time and never patina'd like that

Thanks Gary ,
I'm really happy with how the mods have turned out . The blade and handle re shaping have combined to slim down and gentrify the knife .
It is now my favourite after hours - weekend knife . It will never be carried at work anymore , because it just seems to refined , and I now have my Gayle Bradley that is just perfect in the role ( I'm sure it would handle it with ease though ) .
The ZDP189 already had patina when I got the knife , the previous owner had treated it fairly hard ( that is why I purchased this knife , because it wasn't like I would be ruining a pristine master piece )
Because of its role in life now it does see work cutting up food and that has definitely added to the patina .
I love this thing now :)
