Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

I couldn't decide, so I chose both! I guess that's why I like pockets so much.

I've been wanting 1 of these in brown for a while, and Last night, the wife & I drove from NC to Alabama straight there & back to pick up a a pup. Well, we were passin' within 3 miles of SMKW, and they had 'em in stock, so I swung by on the way home. Now I've got purple & brown, might go ahead & try to collect 'em all.

Is that an Endura?

Does it open SMOOOTH using just the spydie hole with zero flick??

The only problem I have with this knife is that spyderco doesnt make more like it yet. Being a bearing flipper only guy I am so stoked to have a typical spyderco with a flipper.

Just curious, why only pro bearing flippers?

Yep an Endura. And yeah, pretty dang smooth for a $60ish knife. I've got a purple just like it & the purple has been in my pocket every day since the 2nd week of June. It's been years since a knife has lasted that long day to day!

PPT today.

I so wish they would make a 3.5" version with ti liners and the normal Thiel titanium clip.

I'm carrying the PPT as well. Great blade.
I agree with the Ti liner part but wouldn't make it any bigger. The size is just right for a knife weighing 1-2 ounces less. And I agree with the clip. It's very difficult to get out of my pocket without a lanyard and that sort of defeats the purpose of a low carry clip.

I lightly sanded the handle and this made it easier to get out of the pocket (not as sharp edges on the G10) while still providing plenty of grip.

I'm considering removing the back spacer and swapping it out with G10 or plastic to save weight.. The thick steel back spacer is imho a design mistake on an otherwise very very good knife.

Chaparral 2. Just received it yesterday and gave it it's maiden pocket voyage. Like it. It's so light, I kept making sure it was there. It'll stay there for...a day...until Domino arrives and gets a chance at some pocket space...then I assume it'll rotate in with not only the Domino but also the tried and true Delica4 and Dragonfly2...I don't count the Ladybug, but if I did and ever carried the Tenacious and Endura I would now have a Spyderco for every day of the week...which pales in comparison to some of you that seem to have one for every day of the month...

I just bought a user Endura that had side to side blade play and the deployment was really sticky and sluggish. I opened it up, cleaned it out with rubbing alcohol, put a drop of oil on the pivot and buttoned it back it. Now it is butter smooth!
