Haha, well I can't help you there. I'm liking it more every day I carry it. The looks kinda threw me off at first, but the solidity and usefullness of the blade, and with more cutting edge than some larger offerings, make it very fun to use.

Essentially yes. I can see a little gap near the tip when compared on a straight edge.
