  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

My well used Sage 2. Doesn't see a whole of time anymore with slightly larger knives being preferred, but it is a great knife.

As I sit here sipping my coffee and contemplating the days events, I might take the ferry over to the big city, I think it's going to be a little knife, big gun kind of day. Chaparral.

How do you like that Chaparral? I have one coming to me.

I haven't used mine for any heavy cutting, but I love the knife. I usually carry something bigger. The smaller size really does make a difference in comport and when putting my hand in my pocket. I sometimes have to check to make sure the knife is still there because it is so light and comfortable. If you plan on doing a lot of heavy cutting, then I'd recommend using a bigger knife, but for most everyday tasks the Chaparral is a very good choice.

caly super blue had me gushing with pride today. it has a fine patina now and it keeps an incredible edge with minimal maintenance.

Caly3 sprint!! Seems it is a good fit..

Tried the Sage1.. Just cant warm up to it.. John
