Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

G10 Dragonfly II and friend.

Very nice Barman!
Finally got my hands on a fully serrated military thanks to a good friend. Should be getting a lot of carry time.

My new Matriarch 2 SpyderEdge...was out for dinner and drinks at a 51% location (off limits for concealed carry in TX) so I took this evil looking little beast with me instead. I have to say, that knife just plain looks mean.

BG-42 CF Military.

My other Spyderco's have been getting neglected lately. The only modern knives I've carried lately is Sebenza's and Military's.

Barman1,

Cool auto. Did you change out the clip? or did it come with it.

Either way, it gives the knife a sleek, classy look.

Thanks for sharing. battle

Thanks Battle.
I always remove the black clips from my pricier Spydercos. Mostly because after the "honeymoon" is over and I have to make the decision if I like it or not the stock clip still looks good, if I decide to let it go.
I don't know others feelings but a shabby looking clip really lets down the look of a classy knife.
I do like the stock black clip on this model and I had an STR low clip on for a few days and it looked horrible. Just the wrong knife for the STR is all. Great clip otherwise.
I ordered a few carbon clips from USAKnifemaker. Got the ones with no holes and drilled them myself. And it does look good.

I'm calling this one the Phantom. Cheesy, but the serial number is 309...after the Red Sovine song of the same name. Tom Waits covered it well.

Thanks Battle.

Phantoms a good name. Thank you for the insight Barman. I agree about keeping the stock clip nice and not all scratched up. I do like the carbon fiber clips as well.

Good stuff,

Battle
