Just picked this up here. The scale material is made in Denmark using copper/brass mesh embedded in the epoxy resin and machined here.

That’s really eye catching. I like the 3D effect, it looks much deeper (thicker) than what a normal scale appears.

Fresh edge and new scales on the S45VN. Sharpened an S30V and this one back to back, the S45VN sharpens up much nicer and takes a keener edge.
