been looking around at larger emersons lately, not sure which one i'll end up with if given the opportunity. Wouldn't mind some feedback and pics.

looking at the Super commander, Super Cqc-7, Super SOCFK, Cqc-11

Convince me!?:D

Super 8 or super commander for me.

a super 8 is appealing but for now I have the CSF and the low slung blade knocks it out of the park for me.
that's why I'm thinking the Super comm, Super Cqc-7, Super SOCFK, Cqc-11
the super comm looks awesome but I'm not sure how i feel about recurve yet so the 11 looks great too and I love my 7bw so much that's why I'm looking at the super socfk and the super 7.

Csf is only a 3.8" while the super 8 is a 4.2". Significant heft if you like them big. The tiger is also bigger than the csf.

Once you get used to the unconventional recurve of the commander, you will love it. Makes excellent slicers. Get any uneven surface on the recurved area, there is no getting out of it.

Really depends on what you want.

If i was going to get a super anything it would be the Roadhouse. But, and I know im in the minority here, I dont see the point in the super models except maybe just the cool factor. The Mini versions are large enough for me in most models haha

No, I agree. ^
I carry my Jungle Commander, just for the Whoa-factor, and I get it!

Not the 7. Too much handle, not enough blade. Super Roadhouse has been discontinued so that may be a good reason to get one while you can.

Murindo- The shorter, stout blade on the 7 is on purpose. I'd have it no other way.

I would say Super Comm or the CQC-11. Both are similar in size and the ergo's are fantastic on both. I'm not that fond of chisel ground blades so it would be a easier choice for me. Between the two I mentioned, probably the Super Comm would be my current choice but it is bulkier in pocket compared to the CQC-11. My CQC-11 BTS currently lives in my everyday backpack.

I had the Super Roadhouse and the Super Commander. Both beasts of a knife and I could recommend either.

I cannot do pics but I do know the SOFCK is a larger knife than the Super 7. The blade fills up most al of the handle in the closed position.

Each to their own tastes. There could be a lot more blade in that Super 7 handle. I was expecting something more like the Benchmade Emerson 975 and was very disappointed by the "Super 7". I would call the 975 the "extra Super 7".
