Which super sized emerson??

No, I agree with you; put as much blade into a knife handle as possible. But, Ernest designed the CQC7, the way he did, for good reasons.
btw, I never had any interest in the Super7. If I want bigger, it's my Commander.

All over 4" blade.
From left. Ubr, super comm, super8, Persian

Super Roadie would have similar dimensions to the Super8.

11 was my first Emerson, SR was my first Custom. I much prefer the SR, in fact just recently sold my 11 even though it was a Krein Regrind.

I like the Super Commander the best but the 11 is a nice knife too. The 8 is massive and the Roadhouse and SOCFK are pretty close. The 7 and Big Bulldog are closer to other regular size Emersons.

Ubr commander next to a Busse TGLB... this thing is big and bad:

Yeah, I love the darn thing--did some serious work with it today, preparing kindling, shavings, etc, for my fire pit. I even used it to pry a rotting branch in two it handled every task I put to it. Great knife. It had to pull hard duty since the TGLB is back at the shop for some tlc.

Maybe Ernest and Jerry can do a collaboration?? INFI blade in an Emerson handle.

That's a tough call. It'd be a toss up between the UBR, Super Roady, and Super SOCFK for me. That Super Raven Prototype is very nice. The hidden wave feature is too cool. The 11 was my first Emerson as well and although it's a big knife the UBR and SRH feel more substantial in hand. If only they did a production run of the BEAST Road House all would be good.

Just got a journeyman in trade so that'll hold me off for a little but it's looking like the 11 or the roadie at this point.

I have a super 8 and it is awesome!!! It is light for the size and like a folding sword in your pocket. You have to laugh when it is closed, and still bigger than my carry gun! Seriously an awesome knife!
