Which survival knife should I buy ?

And do I need to take care of the patina for my b1 ? I really dont know about it, I've just seen videos where people put mustard on their knives :o

Don't worry about the patina. As for the sharpening, a leather strop, some compound and some assorted sandpaper is all you will ever need. Usually the strop with black compound on one side and green on the other will keep a good edge most of the time with touch ups. Bark River's A2 is great stuff. For general woods tasks, including batoning, it will hold a shaving edge for over an hourof heavy use, in my experience, and a usable edge for days.
