Which Swamp Rat Is your favorite?

Don't have the Ratweiler, But I can say if I had to sell all my blades except one- I would keep my Camp Tramp until the end...
 
Well since we're choosing stuff that's not on his list - I choose the Waki.

I don't have one yet, but I've held one. And it's my favorite. :D :D :D
 
If I need a knife where weight and all around perfectness counts, I'm grabbing my Ratmandu.

Ratmandu. You know it.

The Scrapper 5 will be alot like the Ratmando, same steel and heat treat, about the same size blades, Rez-C mudder grips instead of micarta. The order window is over but they may start showing up on the exchange for a bit less than the RMD.
 
Hard question. I'd have to say the Ratmandu, it's nearly perfect for my uses. If second place counts it would be a tough fight between the Camp Tramp, Ratweiler and Chopweiler. All three are very close in size but different.

I got my order in for a couple Waki but don't expect it to be my favorite. Looks like a lot of fun but actual use might be limited. Don't know but time will tell!
 
Well since I only have two at this time, the winner is the M9LE and I love it. This may change when I receive my Wakis.;)
 
CHOPWEILER CHOPWEILER CHOPWEILER!!! Much like the M9, the balace of the Chopweiler gives the knife a great feel in the hand. If you get it sharp enough, it will chop as well as the M9 IMHO. When you choke back on the handle, which fattens out, the butt of the knife fits right into the palm of your hand allowing one to obtain more torque out of chopping strikes. If you choke up on the handle, the finger coil allows for very fine blade work even with the 8'' long blade. I feel as if the Chopweiler is a classier version of the Camp Tramp...once again IMHO. Feel free to shoot me down if you disagree! But I love my Chopweiler(s)...
 
Satin Battle Rat and Gen 1 Howler....nothing else compares in the RES-C world!!!!!
