Which ZT should I get?

Some of the manufacturers gave dealers a "holiday from MAP" around the holiday season to help clear out some inventory. I would have been all over my want list if my income hadn't been obliterated this year.

I bought two ZT 0920 sprints. Should have also bought a 0562TI and a 0470.. But then my wife would perhaps have divorced me :D;)

0200. Kidding. I'd steer you to 393, 562 or 470 if you want something lighter weight. Good luck with your decision!

You can't get just one. But like other people have stated, the 562 and the 393 are the way to go. You can still find some 393SW around, which I think is the best of the 393 runs.

I’d go with the 0640. The shape reminds me of the BM 710 which is one my favorites of all time. Plus, it has a 20CV blade and Ti/CF handle
I agree.
Not being interested in knives that are flipper only, I noticed the 0640 about a year ago. About 7-8 months ago I held one in hand at my local knife and gun store. Very nicely built, with ti/ carbon fiber handles and 3.75 inch 20cv blade. But it was a little beyond my budget. Then, seeing a great sale on ZT knives at one of my favorite vendors, on Black Friday, I got one. Light and strong. Great edc. Poor man s Sebenza (with better materials).
Not the thinnest blade, but very sharp and still a fine cutter.
Worth a look in person, if you can.

Wow 180. Wish I could have gotten in on that.
There was the 1st time ever ZT on sale in the 2019 year end holiday season. $180 for ZT 0562TI by multiple dealers was the lowest although it lasted for just a few days, IIRC.

If I could only have one ZT, it'd have to be a 0562.

Kershaw and ZT have the coolest site, maybe even Kai Japan. You just click knives and get ALL OF THEM are on one page. Just click it and swim in your own drool. That being said I recommend going to the ZT page and just scroll and look at all them and whatever looks the coolest get it. All ZT knives are high quality so you won't be hurt picking one out with your eyes, just look at them all and pick out the coolest looking one.

After a lot of thought I ended up getting a 0470 for $209. Probably won’t be my last zt, assuming I like it. I really like the looks of the Emerson thumb disk knife so that may be next on the list. Also seems like the 0562 gets a lot of love so may need to find one of those as well. Will probably end up getting a user on the forum eventually.

I have benchmades and Spyderco, my favorite are a 560-1 super freek and pm2. I had a zt566 (edited, wrong number) and a 350 a long while ago but didn't like the assisted opening on either and the 350 was just too "tactical" and so I sold both.

I want to get a zt just to add to my collection for basic EDC use. If you could only get one and you love the pm2 size and slicey-ness, which model ZT would you get and why?

Thanks all
I have kind of in and out of ZT's for a while. Well about a month ago I had that need a new knife itch and going down BladeHq from A to Z I ran up on the ZT456. It's another project between ZT and Sinkevich. For some reason I just went ahead and ordered it even though it was different from my usual knife loves. When this thing came it was like love at first sight. It is a handful but no more than that and then when I flipped it-it is to me the best, no finger pain, snapping open impressive knife I have ever flipped. It's not cheap. Everywhere I looked it was $269. Somehow I ended up at Walmart and I have never bought a knife from Walmart but there it was for like $229. That was obviously a sign and I jumped on it and also got it the next day. It is really just one of those knives that you can't get excited looking at the picture but once it's in your hand you will love it.

Got my 0470 today and it’s great. Initial thoughts, reminds me a little of my 940, slim and light in the pocket but looks 1000x’s better. Seriously, this is possibly the best looking knife I’ve ever owned. The blade is thinner stock than my freek and pm2, the flipper tab doesn’t stick out far at all and it’s just and overall great design. The machining of the scales is really detailed and the marble carbon fiber just looks amazing.
If I have to pick on it, the pocket clip could be better. I may end up buying something else, it looks fine but the bend at the tip makes it a little tough to clip to my jeans pocket.

sorry, the pictures don’t do it justice

I really like the look of the 450 but it just seems to narrow for me. I wish the 0640 had studs, I really like the look but can’t do thumb disks.

The 0450 is a fantastic knife. If it was the only knife I had, I would be fine. It isn’t though. I have new to me 0350 on the way. The

What about the 452CF? I really like the 450Ti but it seems you can't find a 452 in Ti.
