Whip out your favorites, and show us YOUR COLLECTION

Nice fleet. I want to try but I don't know if I'm really up for it.

Half of the leap to actually using a straight razor is mental. The mental picture o f severing an artery has been way blown out of proportion by Hollywood, just like everything else they touch. They can be finicky to get a good edge on, but once you get a proper straight shave there is no turning back. Really nice, you will actually look forward to shaving again.:D

here's my current collection, minus one, the Gerber EZ-Out beater knife i left at work, but since i hate that knife anyway....

Knifefamily.jpg

my favorites in this group are;
Spyderco Cricket, Native and Jester (my current EDC array), the Endura's nice too, but it normally lives in my car

if i had to sell off some knives, i'd have no problems parting with the Buck 110 and Metro, and the Gerber Truss 2.0, but i'd hold on to all my Spydies

if i *had* to sell some Spydies, i could part with the Endura and Jester, but there's no way i'd part with the Cricket, Dyad Jr, or Native

luckilly i don't *have* to part with any of 'em....

First off... GREAT LOOKING KNIVES EVERYONE!!!

Holy crap... I didn't think I was going to make it after lusting over so many lust-worthy objects.

I would have to say though, secondly, I am going to have to get me one of those 710 M2's before they go out of stock. Everyone has one, and it's grown on me. Would it be safe to abuse as a great EDC, or would that not be recommended?

Also... after seeing them in J85909266's and MacTech's collection, I'm starting to like the Spyderco's more now. The total non-symmetrical look is kinda growing on me.

I'm also very jealous of Bob W and Rowdy27's fixed blades (and whole collections), and also, GUBBY man... you take the cake for the best picture/discriptions!!! Way to go man... good job.

Speaking of numbering your knives... J85909266, can you label your knives somehow, because I'd like to get in on that Spydy action soon...

MacTech... by the way, what is that double-folding Spyderco... that is hot man... ???

THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S PARTICIPATION, and keep'em coming!!!
Cleary

P.S. If you haven't posted shame on you, get on it!!! (I will be soon)...

the double-fold is a Dyad Jr, unfortunately discontinued, thanks to Spyderco getting ripped off by Smith & Wesson "knife-shaped metal objects"

there were 3 sizes, the full size Dyad, the Dyad Jr, and the Mini Dyad, they're all incredibly rare

my Jr was a lucky find at a local sporting goods shop, it was used and they wanted $25 for it, i had a feeling it was rare, so i snapped it up, really nice little knife, the PE blade cuts like a scalpel, the SE blade works well on all the things you need a serrated blade for, it's the *perfect* little pocketknife

...or as Gollum would call it, "My Preciousssss!" ;)

Here are two more of my fixed blades, but I can't take credit for the photos. The photos are by Don Hanson (Sunfish Forge).

Nice balanced collection Silvercall! My EDC is that 1-blade Scagel model. Nice to see more slipjoints!

Notice how everyone has a Spyderco Native? Truly a sweet little knife, and a tough little beater, too.

Current rotation.

(Could only jam so many on the scanner... ;) )

DaveH wins the thread!

Are those Mayo'd by Tom Mayo, or someone else? They are great!

I'll post pics of my collection later. I took some pics, but they didn't come out.

Here's some of my Busse's, no pics yet of my John Ek, Spydies or Anza collections.

If we ever get a snow day this year, I'll get out the camera.
