Whip out your favorites, and show us YOUR COLLECTION

And where are pix of YOUR knives? YOU started this thread, so you should have the first pix up.

T.K.C.,

I am waiting for a camera to use to take a few shots of my small collection. Great shots though, I like the short blue model (not familiar with brand).

Bob W.,

It's always a pleasure to see your collection Bob. Thanks for the support on the thread and keep them coming. What's your Top 5 right now that you own Bob?

John T. Wylie Jr.,

John... all I can say is I've never been more envious of a person's collection than yours my friend. I would like to see the folders you own as well.

Exciting photos guys. And for everyone else being a spectator, try turning into a participant by adding your collection. If you don't have a camera, just name your collection if possible and any other gadgetry you might own.

I'll post my collection (in word form in the next post immediately after this)

Keep'em coming,
Ryan

FliGuyRyan: OK, I understand about no pix.

The first 3 knives could be considered blue. The first one is a Peter Atwood Solar Arc (this knife is no longer made.), the second knife is a Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper "Gecko" knife, and the last one is a Kevin Wilkins Avalon 3. They are all custom knives. Let me know which one you are referring to.

Alright, until I get a camera, a list will have to suffice...

Folders:

CRKT M16-13M - The first knife I bought for myself really...
Benchmade 9130 Auto-Stryker "Taurus" - Bought because it's an auto.
Kershaw ZDP-189 Leek - Bought my dad the original and I had to upgrade.

Multi-tools:

Leatherman (original model) - Received as a gift from family 10+ years ago.
Leatherman Micra - Wanted a LM on my keychain, and scissors are handy.
Leatherman Charge TTi - Bought after giving one as a gift. Awesome!

Fixed Blade:

Cold Steel Spike (Talon pt.) - I wanted a boot knife, but I don't use it.
CRKT Crawford/Kasper Dragon - I want the original but this will do for now...

And the knives that I can think of that I would like to add to my collection are as follows... wishful thinking indeed.

Knives…

Kershaw:

Random Leek
Junkyard Dog
Centofante
Spec Bump

Benchmade:

Model 32 Balisong
940 Osborne
Skirmish
Mini Skirmish
710 Henry and Williams
HK Ally
Rukus
Mini Rukus
LFK

Spyderco:

Cricket
Poliwog
Police
Kiwi
Street Beat
Civilian
Dyad

Miscellaneous models…

Busse Combat – Sus Scrofa
Crawford Knives – Dragon
Chris Reeve – large and small sebenza

T.K.C.,

It's the blue knife with the white background. It looks to be the fourth picture down (out of five - don't forget the little picture included as well).

It's about a 1/5 of the way open, standing on blade tip and butt of knife.

Neat looking...

Everyone else... come on, don't be shy, we have more than a few members on this site guys.

Here are some of my folders...

Blade Junky,

Nice eclectic collection. I like the Spec Bump and was considering one of those awhile back except that it was just too thick to be EDC'ed for me. I went with the ZDP-189 Leek instead. But, now I'm interested in the Junk Yard Dog II.

Nice...

Thats not a Spec Bump, its the new G-10 version of the Offset and its a vast improvement of the aluminum handled version. Better grip and carry's a lot better.

Here's some quick pictures I snapped before moving my knives into storage for the summer break.

Blade Junky,

I thought it looked like an Offset! Wow... that thing does look better. I might have to look into one of those now just for kicks.

spoonrobot,

Nice collection. What is the Benchmade in the middle (the black one that's above the lime-green BM) in the group of three after your Spyderco's?

Also, is that the Poliwog with the ball-lock or another model? That is awesome! I'm not a fan of Spyderco either, but that is slick.

stjames... dude... all I can say is I don't even have a Sebenza yet. You wanna loan me one, hehe :-) I doubt you'll miss it. NICE COLLECTION! What's your favorite? (Did I mention that's impressive?)

Thanks guys so far... come on, get out your cameras... mine will be here soon.

If you don't mind me asking - what's the auto folder in the right column (third one down from the top) ???

Thanks.

Thanks,

The middle Benchmade folder is the Model 530. It's a very light folder well-suited to the dress role. I actually intended to purchase this knife several years ago but bought the Lime Green Griptilian instead, only acquiring the 530 this month. I will say, I'm sorry I waited.

The knives with the Ball-Bearing Lock are the discontinued and underappreciated Spyderco Dodo. Next to my H1 knives this model is easily my favorite knife design ever.

I don't really consider myself a good collector since much of my collection consists of well-worn users but I do like to acquire designs that are rare in the industry or I think won't be making a comeback anytime soon. Hence the Yojimbo and Dodo dupes.

Ahhhhh, I gotcha! I forgot about that little picture in there. The one that has piqued your interest is be my Kevin Wilkins Avalon 3, in cyan. It is a FANTASTIC knife!! It is one of my absolute favorite knives!! It has a 3 inch BG-42 blade.

Vivi,

Nice solid collection. I'm going to have to jump on the Spyderco and SAK bandwagons here soon.

spoonrobot,

I really like the Model 530 and Dodo. Those are amazing knives and probably extremely usable as you said. That's what I like to collect, knives I can actually EDC, well... everday. Thanks for your input and collection pics...

T.D.C.,

That's a winner man. I really like the Keven Wilkins Avalon 3. Nice knife, simple as that. I'm envious!

Thanks guys... good posts, and tell some of your buddies on here to start posting, I know there are more cameras out there.
