Here's mine... the 1st pic is along the edge- you see the red spacer. which came stock on the CF version. To the top right is the stock bolt, it's a sleeve with a bolt going through both sides, and bottoms out so you can't adjust the friction.
To the left are chainring bolts- cheap generic steel and red anodized aluminum.

The backside of the chainring bolt is a spanner as you can see below.

The red on black is sexy...

The mod does justice to the Warren Thomas design, if I do say so myself.

I actually don't have much of a problem with Mantis. Innovation and creativity should always be encouraged and if Warren Thomas has made the decision to work with them, that counts for something. There was a rumor of them not being completely honest about the materials used in their products, which is of course very bad if true, but I don't have all the details of that.

Dorkops I have a bigger problem with, because of the ridiculous marketing and direct theft from Extrema Ratio.

Well I learned something. I had a few good laughs, and I have never heard of these mall ninja's or encountered one. I never thought someone could get so caught up in the whole tactical thing that much... 0_o

That's always been my take on it.

I'm pretty sure Gecko45 is just trolling, which is what makes it so gut-bustingly funny, to me.

Then again, I used to think Phil Elmore (The Martialist) was just trolling, but it's become clear to me that he really does take himself seriously - If he can deliver that level of silliness with a straight face, completely seriously, it makes me wonder...

"This guy" reviewed what was, at the time, the entire Mantis product line. The knives were sent to me for this purpose, and I ended up paying for them because West got anxious over the length of time it took to do the review. (This was prior to the "Mantis Army" debacle.) I found the knives to be functional and unremarkable -- while their aesthetics were a matter of taste, I didn't find anything wrong with them. At least, nothing that stood out.

Subsequently, I had reason to wish I'd never heard of the company, as have many here at BFC. Hindsight, and all that.

I'm a natural skeptic, and I would call BullS&*t on the Mallninja link, but I have actually heard people say this kind of crap. I can't believe those people think others will believe them.And please don't throw medieval swords in with the Mantis mallninja's, the sword deserves better than that
