Who are the best online retailers for knives?

So...2 weeks ago I ordered a PE Endura 4 from Amazon, and they sent me the Spyderedge model (got a great price PLUS an extra 15% off when they screwed up so I kept it...). Last week I ordered a RAM from Amazon and, along with being a "Prime" member, I paid the additional price for 1 day shipping....5 days later and no knife yet.

I've gotten some pretty good deals on Ebay ( including a NIB JYDII composite for $48...) but you need to find what you want, and be available when the auction ends. Most of the Buy It Now knives on Ebay seem way overpriced.

I'm looking for other people's recommendations for reputable online knife dealers. Good prices, good service, fast shipping. (Hey, when I get it in my head that I want a new knife, I WANT IT NOW!:D)

By the way, I'm not lazy or against local retailers. I work a craptastic night shift and have trouble getting to stores during regular business hours...even IF I could find a place besides freakin' Walmart (Kershaw...) that sold decent knives around here. I'm in Milwaukee if anyone has a suggestion for a local joint to check out.

You have to watch what store you are buying from on Amazon.

CutleryUSA, Poorfish Outdoors, and Knife Center are good.

Yeah, I almost exclusively buy items which are "Shipped from and sold by Amazon", which is what both of the knives that I had the bad luck with were. Thanks for the shop suggestions, I'll check 'em out.

KnifeCenter.com
and spydieguys (ebay seller) are both great

I also had a really awesome experience with Action Concepts (actionconcepts.biz). I wanted a rat rc-5 plain blade in black and no one had it but James Marsh went to near by knife/gun show and got one for me for a good price, and shipped it very fast.

ebay is good, i have bought a lot of knives off ebay, and in my experience i usually find the buy it now price of what i want to be lower than many other places.

theres also :

bladehq
knifecenter
grande prairie knives
new graham knives

New Graham, KnifeCountryUSA, GrandPrairie(GPKnives), savsonswordsandknives, knifecenter, DLTtradingcompany and knivesshipfree (both for Bark River knives), all these are good by my attestation and experience.

Do NOT buy from TheBladeSHop. Heed this warning. Check The Good, Bad, and Ugly forum for a long thread of problems, mine included. The Blade Shop also operates under the name Tactical Gun Armory (for guns, scopes, holsters, etc). I have experience with both and both are bad juju.

Ben's Backwoods, Ragnar's Ragweed Forge, A Cut Above Knife Supply and THomspons's Scandi Knife Supply are all good.

All the ones I mentioned I've dealt with and have a pleasant experience (minus the two I warned about). There are lots of other knife vendors, but I havent bought from them.

I agree, I've gotten some damn good deals on Ebay as well, but the low BIN price often leads to a rape on the shipping, or a 1 1/2-2 week wait to have the knife in your hand....I'm impatient. ;)

The General Knife Discussion forum is for discussing knives, not dealers. We have a forum where we leave feedback on the good dealers, the bad dealers, and the ugly dealers. We call it FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly! I have moved your thread there.

I've had great experiences with NewGraham, Knifeworks and yourcornerstore.com. All 3 have been more than exceptional to work with.

Sorry, brother....I'm a dumb noob & searched my ass off for dealer recommendations and couldn't find anywhere cool to post it...

I find new graham, yourcornerstore and knifeworks are the best places. Yourcornerstore has the lowest prices, but I have heard of a few screw ups from them, although it has never happened to me and I have ordered from them at least ten times. And they have a buttload more stuff than just knives too.

I like New Graham, Collectorknives.net, Knivesshipfree, SoonerState, TSAknives.com, and the-knife-connection.com. I have ordered knives from each of these sites, and have had excellent service from them all.

The Cutlery Shoppe for Spydercos, Knifeworks for Benchmade. They have the best prices.
GPKnives, Knifecenter and BladeHQ are also very good.
Poorfishstore on eBay is good for Spydercos.

New Graham Knives
Knifeworks
One stop knife shop (1SkS)
AG Russell

I have ordered multiple knives from all the above companies, all have been excellent.

Most of them have been covered, but I've had really good experiences with casexx . com, world knives, and caseknifeoutlet . com.
