Who are the BLADE Inducted HOGs of '08 and '09?

Amy, I think Dwayne meant that the O.I.N.K. list doesn't mean much here on the boards anymore. Not that it doesn't mean anything there in Atlanta. Or that it doesn't mean anything in terms of deals through Busse.

The O.I.N.K. list started back in 2003 and ran for 5 years till '07. Then, when Busse started recognizing HOGs online, the O.I.N.K. list updates just stopped. Like I said before, recognition simply ended for folks who spent the time and money to make the pilgrimage, engage in the tomfoolery, and shake Jerry's hand. I, like you, was among the last group to get official recognition.

If the O.I.N.K. list is effectively defunct, ya'll might as well Unsticky it. It has, in fact, been unstickied a few times after Ganzas, and I asked Hammy to sticky it back at least a couple of times, hoping it might be updated.

Again, I am not trying to create divisions here (Bravado is! :p). I just think it's a shared experience that is worth recognizing. And maybe such recognition would get more people, even folks who are already HOGs, to make the trip.

Believe me, I'm well aware there are Busse fans who are either (a) online HOGs, or (b) not even official HOGs, who are more deserving of HOG status than I am. All I'm arguing is that there is a breed of HOGs who smoked the cigars and measured the ashes and watched the Snoopy dance and slogged through the trough and drank, drank, drank in the pit, etc.

Surviving such a trial by Scotch alone is worth mention. And other folks need some encouragement to come and partake of the insanity.

I just felt bad for the last couple of classes who got no recognition past Blade itself. And I'm curious who made the trek in '09. In '08 too, actually. I was there in '08, but I was too hung over to really remember anyone who was inducted.

Heck, it's not that big a deal to me. I'm on there regardless. I can just copy the '07 list and make it my signature line! :p :p :D

Yes we have inducted many online.... HOWEVER if you make the trip to Blade we make it very special....and many people who have been inducted online are very happy:):) and when(many do) they make it to Blade are just as happy:)

and I am very sorry if you do not think it 'means" anything anymore...because to be honest the company has grown BUT still have a amazing customer base...and new HOGS per say are always evolving...

I will talk to the Boss man and see if we can update the list

I totally agree.

When I was inducted online it was just shy of a year ago and I was very happy to be a HOG. Even though I had not been to Blade and I was not officially a HOG in Bravado's eyes I still felt like I was part of something speacial.

Then the trip to Hotlanta just sealed the deal with a Handshake and a Hug, a party and a trough stompin.

I am happy to be HOG and was privlaged to make it to Blade but would still be a happy Hog if i hadnt.

See? Some of these HOGs were so drunk they don't even remember that they're HOGs. :p

I see the list as more of an accomplishment accolade. You know, like "Ate the 72 ounce steak" or "Drank 100 different beers in 100 days". Or "Survived the Trough and the Pit in Atlanta."
