Who Bass Fishes?

I bass fish!!!

I bass fish when I get the chance, lakes Amistad, Choke Canyon, Braunig, and Medina in South Texas are my home waters. I use two rods and reels exclusively.
Berkeley Lightning Rod with an Abu Garcia Low-profile (the economy model with five or six bearings, not a REVO) reel, loaded with Spiderwire 50-lb braid.
Shakespeare Ugly Stik 2-piece with an Abu Garcia Cardinal spinning reel loaded with Tourney Tough 12-lb mono. Tip snapped off, but still an excellent combo.

I fishes, but people on the forum already know this! I've been out once this year, been working on a race car like crazy the past few months, and the weather in CT isn't enjoyable lately. First and only fish, 5.5 lb, 24" on my brand new jig with a crayfish trailer. I have a Shimano Chronarch spooled with 30lb powerpro on a st croix triumph, an abu garcia revo sx on a berkley lightening rod and 50lb PP, and a quantum accurist pt on an ugly stik with 50# PP. I basically use the first two year round, the accurist is my first and oldest, it comes out once in a while.

There ya go!

I go up north to my native country every summer, and invariably do some bass fishing while I'm there. I use whatever reel I can find in the garage, and whatever rod isn't broken. :D Them smallies really put up a fight!
