I don't know any knife people so it was highly unlikely that I would receive any knives as gifts. I got bedsheets and an Ali G. DVD, no knives.

So i went and headed to New Graham dot com and ordered myself a late Christmas present. A Case small trapper in CV with yellow scales should be headed my way soon. Thank me very much.

P.S. I gave out a bunch of engraved SAKs to family and friends. They loved them.

Knives are a case in which it is just better for me to buy the one I want. I'm leaning toward a Skirmish over a Chinook 2, but either will make me happy.

I bought myself a CF Military for Hanukkah.

I bought myself a Case barehead trapper in CV from Billy C. at Vintage Knives. Could be coming tomorrow.

I got myself an Mcusta Kasumi as an early Christmas present.

Christmas day I got a gift card to a knife store from my sister and used it to buy a KA-BAR TDI.

Well, I didn't buy it with the intention of getting myself an X-mass gift, but I guess this counts. ) On 12-24 I put a PMO in the mail to seal the deal on an E-bay purchase. I got a 1980 Ontario Air Force Survival Knife. I wanted one back in the 1980's as a teen, but I didn't have the money. I carried my Buck 110 and the Ka-Bar USMC fighting knife. The Ka-Bar seemed a bit big to carry under my coat, and I always thought the 5" blade on the Air Force Survival Knife looked a bit handier to carry concealed. Although I no longer NEED this knife, I want it to leave up at camp. It just looks cool. So yes, I guess I bought myself a gift...

I bought myself a Benchmade 610 "Rukus" for Christmas, unfortunately, I didn't get it yet.
I'll probabily receive it tomorrow.

Merry Christmas !!!

I must have been real good this year, because I got myself a Strider SnG a Strider Ar and a Doug Ritter full and mini RSK.

got myself an Ontario Randall Rat-1 Folder since I don't have anyone to buy me presents..........anticipate buying a Spyderco Sharpmaker and Fallkniven U2 Lockback shortly

Christmas Eve I ordered a BM D2 Griptillian from cabelas and a spyderco SS Cricket from new graham. Considering I only had a mini grip before I lost it these should be a nice start to a collection for EDC use.

I, too, received a D2 Cabela's Griptilian ( from an amazing young woman :) ) but also ordered myself a Spyderco titanium ATR. I've been wanting both for a while and finally decided to get the ATR while I could. Christmas was as good an excuse as any.

Well, I almost did. I bought a Victorinox Swiss Army Fisherman for a gift exchange. So it had to be put under the tree. I got pick #1 and almost went up there and picked up my own gift, but I resisted at the last second because it would have been tacky.

I had been considering beginning a small collection of gentleman's folders so I broke down and ordered a Kershaw Nakamura and a Lone Wolf Paul (Burlwood handle). These will be my first knives I have owned since I was a teen.

I wrapped up the BM TSEK I got a couple weeks ago. My father in law saw me admiring it at a knife shop, said he never knew what to buy me anyway, so he bought it. On the basis that I wrap it myself and open it on Christmas day. So I got to play with it for 2 weeks, and still get what I wanted for CHristmas...I even tried to look surprised!
