Who bought their own X-mas knife?

Purchased from e-bay and shipped December 8th and still in transit. Customs are probably using it to carve the turkey before sending it

Item title: Vietnam era PILOT SURVIVAL KNIFE & SHEATH

Very nice...a little piece of history.

Yep, I had to. Nobody buys me knives.
Got a SS Delica while I was out X-mas shopping, and ordered an SS Police to match it (should come in a couple days).

Guess I'll be holding off on the Manix for a while longer.

Peace.

I haven't yet, but I'm going to get a Spyderco Military or maybe the Spyderco Stretch.

Purchased for myself, but.....

Leatherman Charge Ti, wow what a fine tool, coveted by my older son (who loved the sissors) so I gave it to him.

Spyderco Native, from WM, coveted by my older sister (who loved the blade choil), so I gave it to her.

Buck Mayo TNT, still in the Post Office awaiting my signature for delivery, I covet (for the materials, form and the execution) but now I am afraid to show it to anyone dear out of fear that they will want it badly.

Best,

A Ranger RD9 that was also customized with thumb grooves and striped finish. I asked Justin Gingrich if it could get to me before Christmas and he expedited shipping at no additional charge. What a guy!

Strider MFS. First strider I have own. It has not got here yet.

[RAZOR: You are going to LOVE your SMF!! I can not wait to hear your reaction when it arrives.

I sent some 560's and a 110 to Buck to have the standard blade replaced with BG42. I didn't think of them as my Christmas present to myself when I sent them out, but they came back to me on the 24th. :D

I reserved my X-mas gift to myself a month ago, still waiting for it to come in -- Queen Mountain Man lockback in 1095 with Sambar Stag handles from Cumberland Knifeworks.

Oh,man.I got so lucky!
From Don Hanson's sale for the widow of his friend/collector,I acquired Don's first Bowie, his first forged Bowie and that wonderful Texas Toothpick with early Hanson Damascus blade.
I believe it's the best deal I ever made and feel like the luckiest guy in the world. :D
