Who carries a copperhead?

Böker Copperliner arrived today and extremely pleased:thumbup:

As it's single blade it's a good bit lighter than a double blader.

The Greenbone scales look very well, good finish and it's handy having a liner lock. The thumbstud is composite, but it could be better if it were metal or could be changed.

Everything nice and round in the pocket no jagged edges or square bolster to rip things.

Sharp and well finished about 40USD. It will be a good field knife to use in the orchard or garden, handy size . Works well for me:thumbup:

Regards, W

I carry a Bill Ruple green bone Copperhead that I picked up in the exchange. Great little knife.

I now have a stag Ruple "Copperhead" to go along with an Erickson "Hunter" (which is a design based upon the folding hunter and copprehead patterns).

I bet the Copperhead ya got from me has been demoted to drawer duty Lol...

I've been usin a Yellow CV Case Copperhead a little off and on, and picked up a mint 5 dot Case Red bone Copperhead a while back thats going to see some pocket time.. Almost forgot, have a Case Stag Copperhead in transit somewhere. Hopefully it will be here in a day or two. I like the full size it fits my fat hands great and really doesn't seem that big in pocket. Never had a small Copperhead..

Actually, Mike, I like it quite a bit. Both for getting it from a friend and also because it along with the Texas Jacks are a couple of my favorite Case patterns. (Definitely a few others that fall into that category as well).

So, I don't plan on relegating it to any drawers anytime soon. ;)

I like the pattern. I can't put my finger on what Bill is doing, but his copperheads send shivers down my fingertips. Something about the lines on his copperheads blow me away every time I see one.

Take two Ruple's and call me in the morning...

I know I am replying on a old thread, but I am really falling for the copperhead patter. I have two now. A case natural bone, and a Kissing Crane Rams Horn. Like them both a lot and I go to them a lot since I got them. I just ordered a Hen & Rooster natural bone. Can't wait for it to get here. I plan on more. Hopefully many more.

Bill
