Who compares to CRK?

no....the millie isn't a sebenza, but you put it in the category of "So, they would rather buy a total POS blade (at best mediocre) for $100"....and if you have four of them, then you and I both know it isn't a POS or mediocre piece of cutlery........i 've had my sebenza long enough, i believe to draw a valid conclusion about its performance, and i won't say its not impressive, but there are some great deals for 100 dollars that really give a sebbie competition when price is considered

I do not think bradley comes anywhere close either.I had one and could not keep the screws from loosening up.
In production knives I have yet to see any that comes close to CRK.If CRK is 100 I have seen a couple companies that get near it
CRK=100
Strider=80
ZT 302= 80
Emerson=70 on some models
Spyderco Military,Ti Lum,Manix = 60
BM 610 and Skirmish= 60
Bradley=maybe 40

ok ill admit i am not a sebbie owner, but i will put in my .02 from what i have heard while researching sebbies. first, none come close. a sebbie has its background and name because it is the BEST. no way around that. now if you want something that is a step down from the sebbie you have several choices. there is the bradley alias, i own and love it. the benchmade mini skirmish. adn the buck/mayo tnt. all three great knives. all three a step down from a sebbie. if you want sebbie quality, get a sebbie. if you want almost as good, get one of those. once again just my .02.

Check out Greg Lightfoot's folders. I own a Suppressor and its awesome for a liner lock knife. Smoother than a Seb! Don't flame me for that on the CRK forum because I own seven CRK knives!

I have two Strider SMF's but they are bad ass and when I did pull one out at a barbeque, a neighbour asked me if it was illegal. LOL.

Scott Cook Lochsa is as rare as hen's teeth. If you ever get one, you are a better man than me, so good luck with that.

Lghttfoot I have (Millenium tanto) is super smooth too. I had a Lochsa just to see what the fuss was about. Nice , but didn;t do it for me so sold it .
Buck 172 Mayo is a nice and less expensive alternate. Seb' is a hard act to beat.

Point taken. I agree you can buy a good knife for a hundred bucks. I was only answering in the context of the original question. Just not convinced that a $100 knife would compare with a $400+ Sebbie unless made of the same materials and standards. :thumbup: :)

Bob Dozier folding knives are nice! I have a lock back folder from him with about a 3.5 inch blade. I also have a small reg. sebbie that is my edc. Both knives are very different from one another but both are excellent and I like them equally.
