Who EDC a fully serrated Spyderco?

I've got a couple fully serrated Spydies, but I find myself constantly using the little tiny bit of plain blade at the tip way too often, so mostly I prefer my Spydies with combo blades. :D

I've been edc'ing a SE Salt 1 for the past four years. Rips through plastic zip ties and cardboard like crazy! As far as touch-ups on the go, I carry a Smith's diamond sharpener. You can pick them up at most outdoor shops for around $7. The rod is tapered on one end for the serrations, and a flat part on the other end that works great for the little bit of plain edge. Plus, its the size of an ink pen, so I can take it everywhere.

I never worried about having a sharpener with me until one day that I was cutting open a package at work, and I hit one of those big copper staples that were hidden under the brown tape. I ended up with one serration that was bent over.

That one bent serration bugged me all day! So, I decided to start looking for a good portable sharpner to keep in my backpack. Found the Smith's at a local hardware store and decided to give it a try.

For such an inexpensive sharpener, this thing rocks!

I mainly carry a full SE Harpy with a G-10 handle everyday. I love Spyderedged folders but I do indeed think that the Hawkbills have an advantage especially for pull cutting. I also love the Spyderedged Hawkbills for real rough cutting chores.

The full SE Spyderhawk may be the very best blade of it's type on the Market. I used to carry an original VG-10 Spyderhawk as an EDC and may start carrying it again because I'm anticipating more demanding cutting jobs.

The "sawing" action you can get out of an SE Hawkbill is truly awesome. I like all of Spyderco's Spyderedged knives but I do think that the SE Hawkbills are at the top of the list as far as tackling hard cutting jobs.

I have a number of Spydercos in SE. Two that get EDC all the time are Delica 4 ZDP189 and Ladybug 3.

My twin brother is a paramedic and he only has 2 Spydercos, both with SE, an original Delica with integral clip and a Rescue Jr.

I have a SE ladybug salt on my keychain. In all honesty it is probably the knife I use the most out of all the ones I own.

I do; Native in my pocket (or IWB, depending on what I wear) and Assist in my backpack.

One knife I save for extremely mean jobs is my Golden CO USA Earth made NATIVE. When I first used this blade for a very rough and destructive job about 2 to 3 years ago I used my SE Native thinking if there is a knife I can afford to lose or tear up or completely destroy it would be the best one and the easiest to replace. But I was astounded at the punishment that knife could take and still not be damaged significantly.

The Spyderedge Native might just be Spyderco's best kept secret for a demolition knife.

I have been carrying my first Spyderco for 18 years(knife's birthday was in June), it is an Endura, fully serrated. Great for everything. It was the only knife I carried for a year and a half. I still carry it. I have my receipt and the package it came in.

Well I was dumb and took my ladybug off my keychain and kept it loose in my pocket for the last 2 weeks. Today I woke up and went to go out the door to go sailing and could not find it anywhere. I just searched all over the car/apartment and still nothing. I hope it shows up.

I EDC a Civilian (with a smaller knife) some days. Used to carry a fully-serrated Tenacious, but that knife was given away.

Two of my EDC's...Saver and Ladybug Hawkbill Salts. Never was too into the SE blades until I started carrying these two all the time...

I EDC an Endura 4 that is fully serrated - its mostly used to open packages and its great for that.
