What are basic specs on this knife? Steel, thickness, OAL, blade length, handle material. Maybe @Charlie Mike can add details?

It is chisel ground in .136" D2 hardened to 61RC. Overall length is about 7.25" with 3" cutting edge. Black linen micarta and stainless pins. I have it set up for IWB carry in a kydex sheath. This thing is awesome! I think I haven't had it on me a handful of times since August. Highly recommend something from CM, dudes a steel wizard!

Don't know if you have a Guardian3. That thing is sweet, especially with the 3D scales.

I have the Essential in m4, black, no bolster. Purchased it on the Exchange this year. I like it a lot, but have been considering going with the 20cv instead.

Yeah, mainly just wanting to go stainless. I enjoy the knife a lot and have had no issue with staining, but always feel a little paranoid about it. Just can't quite bring myself to go through with it
Edit to add: Also, I kinda like the look of the bolster and some of their other handle materials.

, thank you for the comparison pic of the Guardian3 and the Essential. Didn't realize it was smaller than the G3, gonna have to rethink things as the G3/IzulaII is about as small as I would go for fixed blade EDC.
