What about finding a different alloy that works for you and experiment with making scales for yourself.
Try a Spyderco Mule, there are plenty alloy variants to choose from, with you able to target one specifically for your preferences, uses and requirements.

I carry either one of these every day or the bravo 1 lt when there are resting

Here is what I carry pretty much everyday save for the .45acp. Depends on where I'm going or what I am doing or going to do as it pertains to the Colt. The only thing I've done to the Colt is to put a laser site on it, cause me peepers aren't that great close up anymore. As for the fixed blade it is a Russian made damascus blade that is a razor. Just lite weight and screaming sharp, I really like it. You don't even know you're wearing it after a bit.
The folder is an old Koncept knife made in the Spyderco plant in the 90's by some fellas. No clip on it and again a straight razor in ats34. Shades are Wayfarer's that are polarized and of course a Galco should holster that I bought when I bought the gun I think in 94 during the last century. Keepem sharp

How about a fat stout custom thats super affordable. And I waited about a month. I told him I wanted blue glow scales with a black top and he came up with that cool design. I think it was only $15 or so more for the glow as he didnt have it in stock. Groniger knives, check him out o instagram
