Who else EDCs a fixedblade?

Here's another look at these three from today:

I don't know why, but I'm always partial to stag.

Haha - awesome! Thanks for the compliment!

Yes, the blue in that patina is very nice!

It does have a nice blue (almost purple) tint to it. It's mostly from food prep.

I love that essential:)

Same here, my friend!

Man, I could look at that knife all day and never get tired of it. :D

She is a beauty, and a much welcomed addition to the family!

^^ROTFLMAO! That little guy has gotten more attention in the last day or so than he got in his whole life with me. :D

Well, this one deserves it, my good friend! Thanks again for the great trade!

Little Guy deserves the attention, and another look:

Link2derek, thank you for your contributions and keep 'em coming.

Will do! And thanks for the kind words - it's truly appreciated.

Recently someone mentioned Helle, so I thought I'd break out my Fjellkniven - it hasn't been out of the safe in a while. Great light to medium duty fixed blade option.

Love this one from Bill Burke - forced a patina on it and it looks great. It's also an excellent cutter and very light:

^^^ As always, a classy combo, Erik. Two beautiful pieces!!

Today I've got the Aurora LT with me. Super light at only less than 6 ounces:

This one today. I modified the sheath system for scout carry. Took off the fire steel loop because I never use it and without it the sheath is a lot less bulky.

As of now it's just a sturdy leather loop with a kydex taco. Rides good, retains the knife well. Easy to deal with, can't complain. Pics of the sheath later.

Derek, haters gonna hate. Keep on keepin' on brother. I love seeing your collection.

I'm curious; how do most of you carry the knives? Inside your pocket? On your belt?

Are you carrying in an urban environment?

I live in city, and work a desk job. I either keep it clipped to the inside of my waistband, or I throw it in my bag. I carry it everywhere I go in the city and outside the city. No problems thus far. I will also carry a small SAK or slipjoint of some kind if I feel like I'm going to disturb people around me with a larger blade.

I don't ever tuck my shirts in so I carry my Spiderco Yojimbo 2 on my belt horizontal front side. No one ever has a clue.
