I bought a checkering file. I think it's 20 lines per inch. Brownells might have some. I picked mine up on eBay.

Here's mine. I wear this little puppy constantly:

5 5/8" oal with a blade of 2.25". I call this the Vaquero Ultralite. Heat treat by Peter's @ 60 RC. Here it is in its Horizontal Sheath on a belt the wife carved:

I make this knife when I've got a chunk of damascus not big enough to make one of my other knvies. I probably should make a run of these because the ones that I've made in the past for sale have sold overnight. So whether I'm in the shop:

Or branding at the ranch. I'm carrying my Vaquero Ultralite.
