Who else EDCs a fixedblade?

Very, very nice. The handle looks like it would just meld with the hand.

Thanks guys!

Spey - The cutting edge is a full 4.5", & the blade is 4 11/16" to the top of the scales, the OAL=9 3/8". The stock is only 7/64 at the widest point (ricasso), but it's tapered both ways, the tang more radically, & the scales aren't overly fat, so the knife has great cutting reach for its size, yet feels like a much shorter knife...it's a bit longer blade/knife in person that it appears in the pics. I'm a collector of custom fixed blades, so my "intended use" is to put it at the front of my open-carry rotation & perform EDC tasks in style!

AntDog - It's funny you say that, I said the same thing to the maker earlier today. The knife is so perfectly balanced and relatively lean, it feels almost weightless in hand...mixed with the flawless contouring of the scales, it makes for a knife that I just do not want to put down. It's that rare knife (for me, anyhow) that looks AND performs amazingly. He gave the blade a hand rubbed finish, but its hamon is still easily visible in person. I haven't stopped hi-fiving myself ever since I opened the box at my office yesterday...I know that the newest knife is always the favorite for a while, but this just may be my #1 favorite in my entire collection, & I wasn't expecting it to be, which is the coolest part!

After a little patina and wet forming, this thing is perfect for edc. Been carrying it for a few weeks and loving it.

Hello friends. I have a couple of Ka Bar USMC style knives that I would like to start carrying but the traditional sheaths are not what I have in mind. Maybe something that keeps the blade vertical by rides higher or perhaps something that would ride horizontally across my belt. I'm still trying to visualize this. I usually carry a handgun at 4 o'clock on my right side. Trying to figure how this would work for me. I'm right handed.

^^ Sure is, my friend - it has a pretty narrow hollow grind, but I did have to touch up the edge on a fine ceramic rod. Now it's good to go. Got it with me again today:
