You're pictures have finally convinced me to buy one of those pocket sheaths. I have a John April fixed blade and a Case Copperlock that would go good in one.

Cool, please post a pic or two once you have it, would like to see that. I find with 2 knives they balance out well and the sheath doesn't move in my pocket.

Will do. I'll probably switch up between the Copperlock and my Alox farmer.

You got that right! Drew is every bit as good as knifemakers with twice the age and experience.

His knives are sharp with a capital "S" too.

Cuts curves in free hanging tissue paper!

BRO! That is the model I've always wanted. I don't think he makes that pattern anymore. Great blade!

Well, I think I'm done with it.

I want to keep it strong and relatively thick, because the Jumpmaster 2 will be pointy and stabby already, so I stopped at this point.

I believe the small drop of the point, and overall thinning, can be appreciated from the pics.
I just used sandpaper and elbow grease, and a glass of water

Thanks to all those who chimed in!

I didn't have a planer to take a couple millimeters off of a door to keep it from jamming against the frame, so, hey, there's a reason it's called a "tool steel"...

She even cleans up nicely.

Man, that reprofiled jumpmaster is just ridiculously sweet. If only they had gone with a flat grind, you probably could have taken it down to the steep angle you initially planned on without having a paper-thin tip.
