It's a young maker named Drew, I believe. He goes by "DCL Knives" here on BladeForums and on IG. Sells his stuff over in the knifemakers forum.

He recently graduated from high school. Super talented, from the looks of his pictures.

Alright, so, I tried a version of CM carry today with great success - until I got into the car and realized why CM has the knife as forward on his person as he does. I carried my new CF/D2 knife like that out of frustration with my shirt getting caught in the sheath, but it's a natural enough motion (and I don't push my belt or pants down when sheathing) that I might just do this for all of my EDC work knives:

My Snody Big Boss came in today and I immediately understand the gripes with the sheath and the handles I kept seeing when researching the model. I'm alright with the handles - I actually really like how they look, but the feel is definitely not great - but that sheath has got to go.

I find myself carrying larger & larger knives...Charlie Mike is influencing me a bit; we both live in NoCA w the same knife laws, so why not go big? Here's my newest for your viewing pleasure, brilliantly built by a young Bulgarian man named Jelio. It's about 10 5/8"OAL/6"CE, & some beautiful stabilized fraxinus excelsior burl scales...my 1st knife w this wood, & I freaking love it. I've got 20 coats of Tru-Oil on it & some paste wax, so they're looking even better than they do in these pics.

This knife was sold as a "kitchen knife", but I open carry it in a nice wet-fitted leather sheath...I just got lucky w this; happened upon it, bought it, & love it....Jelio put his soul into this & he delivered a 10/10 in fit & finish, it's perfectly balanced, & stupid sharp - so thank you again Jelio!

The finish on this is somewhere between a polish and a stonewash. It's really odd. I like it, though.

Really just a hard finish to photograph. If you have a Spyderco Southard, it's a pretty similar finish.
