Who Else is having Staining Problems with CTS-XHP?

From my limited understanding, CTS-XHP does not have a lot of free chromium in its steel matrix. You have to care for it. It’s a great steel though. I once sharpened Xhp and S35vn back to back and found Xhp takes a toothier edge and required more work than S35vn to get a polished edge.
 
But since I'm here, xhp has treated me well. Just wipe down after use and oil when needed ;)
