Who flicks open their sebenza?

There is an obvious difference between abusive flicking and normal flicking (with thumb not wrist) to open your knife. I thumb flick all my knives, I do not do it in an abusive way I have never had any problems and foresee that I will.

Seems weird that a knife that cost $400-$700 dollars would have loosened screws after a few flick openings..... makes me rethink my wanting one to be honest .... should u do it .. maybe not but it should be able to hold up to it more than saw 4 flicks and screws are loose... to use his analogy its like that porsches trunk flying off after slaming the hood 5 times... its not exceptable in a $100 knife let alone a prised sebenza

More like the trunk lid flying off because you decide to open it with a crowbar instead of the latch.

Iv been wrist flicking a Buck 279 Alpha Hunter for 12 years and it still has perfect lockup. I have also never touched the pivot screw.

I pretend that I have wrist flicked my Nyala open. I make sound effect noises to make it seem more dramatic. WHOOSH! WHAMMO!

I got my Porsche stuck in the mud this morning and tore the front spoiler off. The guy that built the Porsche told me it didn't do very well in the mud but I didn't listen to him. Now I'm gonna be a troll and talk about how I'll never buy a Porsche...

Troll, troll, troll your boat......

Wait a second! Rick, is that you?

i flick my large sebenza open sometimes a dozen times in one day.... the screws don't loosen and the knife is about 17 yrs old... the lock up bar isn't worn... Those who say flicking your sebenza open is bad haven't really used one

i have been thumb flicking my sebenza for years. never a wrist flick. never noticed an issue with the lockup or anything for that matter. sebenzas can take it. almost no knife can take repeated wrist flicking unless its a coldsteel
