Who has a ULIZE?

Yeah, this one has been near the top of my buy list since it came out. Like others have said, this thread may just push me over the edge and get one. Prop, you plugged the Spydie hole or am I seeing things?

You guys are awful, I was staying away from this thread. Now I'm very inclined on ordering this knife. Especially after seeing it paired with a Military. Let the shopping commence.

Alright....just got it, this is banging! No blade up /down right or left. Centered right in the middle. I edc my manix lx but i think its gonna get some rest time. The pivot screw was alittle tight so I lossened it alittle.

I first saw it in a magazine (Tactical Knives) and just had to have one. And boy, do I like mine. What a beautiful knife!

I carried it yesterday in my left pocket with my Civilian in my right. They compliment each other very well, very similar construction. So thin.

You can tell I like it, look at my Avatar. It is in my top 5 knives for sure... a great design. Mine is wicked sharp too.

Is that blade shape cool or what? Reminds me of a Pterodactyl.

And mine came amazingly sharp, too. Sharpest knife I've ever gotten straight out of the box.

Hell yeah....I found that knife looking for a military, but never wanted to deal with the clip. Seen it and said....oh my, I found the next knife! :D

My Ulize was my first Spyderco and I really like it. Very big blade, very big (long) handle, yet it's very easy to carry. The video that Powernoodle posted was actually a deciding factor for me when I was doin research. The only thing I'd say it needs is a full SE version. That said, the current PE version kicks ass and leaves nothing to be desired in cutting ability anyway. The thing is downright beautiful, too. :D

Well I just opened mine from the mail a few minutes ago and am slightly disappointed. It is extremely hard/stiff to open and close. I'm going to take a look at it in the morning but this may be one I have to send back.

I have one and love the knife. It. Does look a little scary when you use it to cut an apple at work or a scone at the local coffee shop. I worry a little bit about getting in trouble carrying it. It is a bit longer than allowed to be carried concealed in Colorado. Most cops could care less, but you never know who might. I ask a DPD officer and he said they have more important issues to worry about. He said had never taken a knife away from anyone he wasn't arresting.

Mine was the same...i had to loosen the pivot screw. And its better, and no blade play at all. Does that mean something can be wrong or is the pivot screw just to tight?
