Who Here Fishes?

Only caught two brookie's my whole life. I see your a fair weather fisherman. Slightest chance of uncomfortable you stay home....

Ivan, that's one hell of a fish next to the boat there. That had to be exciting.
 
Where you at? Can i ask? Looks like God's country, for-sure. has to be to grow trout that big.

Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lots of good fishing in any direction, and I try to make the most of it and get out on the water as much as possible.
Those trout are from Duck Mountain area, Manitoba.

Here ya go, my youngest daughter caught this black drum in the surf on McFaddin Beach (TX) last month. I like fishing but she really loves it.

She caught it on that Amabassadeur 6000 & 7-ft rod in the background. Not bad for 10 years old.

Jk we should go fishing sometime, I've got a 14ft John. I've got extra gear too, before I got into knives that's where all my $ went. Maybe we could plan a day at a lake around here for a gathering?
 
I have not done any real fishing for several years. The most I do now is bank fishing with the kids.

Years ago, I used to fish the local sportsmans club tournaments - here is my good friend Smitty and I at one of the weigh-ins - we got second place and big bass on this day.

Interestingly, my friend who has my boat stopped by today and he is going to drop the boat off to my house on Monday.

I'll prep it and get my boat sticker for the lake and maybe I can get out some this summer.

How about pics of a few places I enjoy fishing? The first one is a stream I have been fishing since I was a young boy.


The next one is one of my favorite trout streams.


And this one is Avalon Pier on the Outer Banks of NC, one of the greatest places I know.
