I actually rotate my EDC Damascus Sebs. One of the reasons I opted for "stainless Damascus". The two I currently carry have not had to be sharpend yet. Though I have carried other Damascus by Devon Thomas and had to sharpen. No problems after a few years of on and off use. Still looks good too!
If it's the stainless damascus with AEB-L in it, it should be extremely easy to sharpen, and holds an edge good too. That stuff gets wicked sharp, takes a keener edge than any other steel I've used.
I have to ask you damascus owners, do you guys actually use your knives? How does damascus hold up under normal daily use? I don't want to buy a safe - queen; I'd hate to get a damascus sebbie and then be afraid to carry it.
