Who likes the Supers?

I do! I was not sure but I just got a Super CQC7, thank you Mr. R., and I really like it and I will EDC this one. Black, PS.
Who else like the big Emerson?

only +4inch blades for me in my future...

so yes - a super roadhouse and super commander are on my list!
 
I need to handle one ...i dont have anything bigger than a Roadhouse. The roadie seems pretty big so supers have to be almost huge...ill check one out soon, so i guess i have no clue personally.
 
Once you regularly carry one they don't seem big at all. Everything under 4" seems small.
 
thinking about a super as next one for me. I have had all 3"-3.5" folders for edc I want to try a bigger blade. I think the super with serrations really makes sense. to me it leaves the straight edge length and adds the teeth, best of both worlds IMHO
 
I've been romanticizing over the super 7 as well. I don't have a 7 yet, been looking at the regular jungle also.

And the 8, that is a big boy.👍

The CQC7 is all I need but the Super brings the "whoa-factor."
I use that phrase with respect to Phill Hartsfield because that's where I learned it.
 
A big boy 7😄 There is one on the exchanged right now, just needs some sharpening on the tip. But I like buying my emersons new, I'd really like it tapped for a lefty also.
 
I like my Super 7. It's in my pocket right now. Has to be the strongest Emerson blade?
 
The Super 7 is the only super that I have. I find that opening the knife using the thumb disc is not as natural as with the smaller knives. The arch of the disc may be to wide for my somewhat stiff and non-coordinated thumb. And I'm actually used to my Mini 7 as an EDC. But the good part is that it waves easier then the smaller knives.
 
I have never handled a super but EDC a Commander quite a bit and that is a touch bigger than a super 7 so it may be the perfect size for the 7. Anybody have a pic with a super 7 and commander together?

Limited run of ubr I must, at least, have one in my hand. I may not carry but I want one👍
 
The supers are great! I have all but the super karambit, but that will be added at some point. I have always loved big blades mainly because I have large hands, but also because bigger is better haha. I had the UBR commander, but let her go because of needing funds and the sheer size of that handle was honestly TOO big for me. The blade was awesome sauce and truly a pocket machete, but the grip was friggin wide as hell in hand as well as in pocket. The best size to hand and pocket room ratio is the super 8 in my opinion. It's damn near the same length as the UBR, just cannot match the width of that monster. The super 8 is a slim handle(comparatively) and hides the pocket sabre pretty well in your pants while still allowing that pocket to be used for other items. I vote for more supers!
 
I've also thought that the Super 7 is pretty awesome I handled one at a gun show once and I was impressed.
