Who likes the Supers?

It was a darn good price, just needed to resharpen the front end of the tanto.
 
Prefer supers except for the price. Got a 7 super and an 8 super, sure would like like a 13 super and 15 super or ubr.

Yeah, I saw it, it was an easy fix; oh well. It is a real bummer when one has to sell our precious Emersons to pay for bills, like I have done in the past, good thing they hold most of their value unless they're all beat up, but that one looked almost new.

Btw, I love this forum, there are some really nice people here, always helping others, I love that.
 
makariotes- I had to sell knives in the past to get me out of a jam but there are some knives that I will now just NOT sell. EVER.
It just amazes me how these big Supers are and yet they are no too big, imo.

If ever, I was in a high stress situation without a firearm. I'd want a super in my pocket.

Bigger is better, we lose all fine motor skills, adrenaline is pumped into the blood stream. A small knife might be problematic in that situation.

my love of supers and bigger blades isn't even for that reason, although that is icing on the cake. i can do more with a longer blade than a shorter one. a super can can do all the standard emerson can and a bit more. of course legal issues can stop many from the big blades, but where i live i don't have any laws stopping me. freedom is such a nice thing......

Yeah man I agree; I so regretted selling my super commander, that was the stupidest thing I've done in a long time; but it sure got me out of a jam, good thing I can still get another one.

And yeah, I'd rather have a super with me in a self defense scenario, which I hope never happens, but I'd rather use a .45; Krav is right and Jbmonkey is also right, and you're right. Gee, just the fact that we love Emerson Supers makes us all right, and it is nice to be right sometimes:)

After all that has been said, I still have my sights fixed on a Roadhouse; maybe even a super, that is my favorite right next to the CQC8, the Mutant is also calling me but I have to gather the funds to get one first; this is going to be an interesting year...and now with another executive order for more gun control I might have to get a gun first, we will see...;)

I just got a CQC-11 off the exchange. Its plenty big enough, but its a rare one with satin finish and low serial number 061. So I think I need something else to carry, like a super Commander or a CQC-8.

Pictures inbound, this one was a little difficult to photograph the satin glare seemed to wash out any blade details , think I finally got some worthy ones.

Yeah a Super Commander is definitely within my sights. Waiting for an Uber Commander would be my top choice but 4 inches is the legal limit here to carry sadly.
