Who likes the Supers?

I'd also be interested if someone has a pic of a super 7 and super commander side by side.
 
I have a Super 7 and I like it...but near my Super 8, it isn't so super ( in terms of size ) :)

I think the Super is as big as the 7 can go. Having an Uber 7 would make the handle way too large.
How does the handle feel on the Uber Commander?
 
Though not the most often carried, my Super CQC-7 is my most used Emerson.

The Super-8 is my favorite that I have though it gets little pocket time compared to go-to handful of non-Supers: regular size CQC-8 as well as the Horseman (mini CQC-8), Commander, CQC-11, SOCFK.

Of my two Supers, the 8 is truly a "super-sized" knife while the 7, even with its noticeably larger handle, doesn't seem all that big compared to other large folders.
 
I really like all the Super editions especially the super CQC 8. I love the blade and the handle. The Super Roadhouse is a very close second for the same reasons

If I have to go bigger than the Super7, I'll grab my Helm Aikuchi.
 
I had a super commander which I really regret selling , and it was my favorite knife; I would think all supers are as awesome as that one and if I had it my way I'd buy a super roadhouse right now! That's the next on top of my list, at least the regular version, I just love that blade. I would also add a super cqc8 since I really like my regular; sometimes I wish I didn't have to pay bills so I could just buy knives:)

Nice!!! I like his stuff, and anything with a japanese flair seems to catch my attention these days more and more.

btw, I heard there might be a JSB in INFI.
I'd like to see the PUK in a tanto too.

Dang now you put me in the spot, it's all good though; I'd say it depends, I live in San Diego so anything longer than 4 inches needs to be outside of your pocket like in a sheath, but when I think of capabilities, tactically speaking, the supers are the way to go; EDC wise I would favor a regular size or a mini. If I only had one choice, even with the commie laws here, I'd choose a super and never look back. I love big blades on me but they can be uncomfortable to carry, until you get used to them, after that any other model feels small, even though I carried my Horseman daily for about a year, it is the ideal EDC blade for me.

I hope I did answer your question, supers are a sight to behold, they're big indeed, and heavy. I love them anyway.

And thank you, I'm in the mood for a super really soon. Lycosa has got me leaning towards a 7. But I want a black blade super.

Nice choice, I saw one in the exchange for a good price but it's a satin blade, it might be gone by now but the price was very good, I think someone else already mentioned it. You'll find one I'm sure.

I was going to buy it last night, and pooff it was gone. Lol. Wasn't meant to be.
 
Dang, I almost bought it too, but the stack of bills on my desk said no:(. There is always tomorrow, if I can live that long:)
