Who makes good S35vn folders?

Thanks for the replies folks. There are a lot more knives of this steel than I was familiar with. All the users seemed very pleased with it too.

As mentioned...Sebenzas and PM2. I have another s35v but forget what it is.

RamZar...as always, you are a trove of of interesting facts

Spyderco makes their native5 series in cpm s35vn. I own the native5 in g10 and the s35vn steel on that knife has been my best experience in knife steel to date. It just has the right stuff. Plus i love how sharp of an edge it takes and how easily it takes it with spyderco's ceramic stones.

Yup!!! I have the same blade in the dark blue frn scales.....franken Native?? I use it as a work knife and it is a little beast! The edge holds up very well and it's simple to get it screaming sharp!
My Pro Tech TR-3 is equally amazing with s35vn!

I know Chris Reeve and Kizer Cutlery make folders using this great steel, but are any other manufacturers using it? Why don't more knife makers use it I wonder. It sure holds an edge from my experience with it.

The edge retention of S35Vn will be impacted by HT, just like any other steel.

Just try a Seb. that barely hits 58hrc and one that hits 60hrc.

If you think S35Vn holds and edge, you really need to try 20cv......

Three Sisters Forge.
I've had the Gorgon coming up on a year now and I love it more than ever.

Every variation of a model is counted that BladeHQ carries. However, it still gives you a list of folder manufacturers with S35VN. So, it's at least slightly more than nothing. :)

Last I heard, the next run of Northwoods Indian River Jacks were planned with S35VN blades since KSF dropped Queen as the OEM for their stainless slipjoints.

I missed this response.
It's really a great knife. Lock up is rock solid(has an adjustable stop cam pin to allow for lock bar wear but going on a year now and I've noticed little to no travel), at 17 dps it's got a nice durable cutting edge. It has a pivot bushing that allows for some seriously smooth pivot action and nice centering.
I love my Sebenzas but the Gorgon is still king of the RFP.
