Not sharp really doesn't cover it DK!! Got a brand new Sukhoi 2.0, absolutely perfect in every way......except the slight problem with the edge. Mine came with no edge at all. It was like they forgot to sharpen it at all.
Worst I've seen by far.
Sharp????
Spydie, Hogue, Brous, BM and Pro Tech. Have a bunch of each and never got a dull one.

Wow! That sucks because you'd have to send it back and wait 4-8 weeks for them to sharpen and resend. Ugh...the things we endure for perfection. I'm getting a new clip point blade installed on mine right now...it'll be 5 weeks Monday. Not that I'm counting or anything....[emoji102]

Only knife I ever got shaving sharp from the factory was a CKRT Sakimori. Doesn't matter though, because I sharpen all my knives to shaving sharp myself. Sharpening skills have made me not really worry about factory edges. I get more concerned that factory grinds are even so I don't have to reprofile the crap out of the blade.

Tom Mayo, Tom Krein, Bob Dozier,Jim Harrison and RJ Martin, off the top of my head.

My new tr5 came stupid sharp from protech and I will only strop it until it needs to hit the edgepro apex.

I think a Mcusta I bought was probably the sharpest I've seen from the factory.
