Who Ordered a Small Insingo?

First thing I'm going to do with mine tomorrow when I get it is drop it on the floor. I've done this with my small CGG and my Small 21.

Why on earth would I do something like that? That way I automatically get over the hump of "Oh I don't to scratch up my new knife" syndrome that everyone goes through.

We paid $370 for this and you better believe this will replace my small 21 as my EDC. The CGG was an EDC for 1 year and was replaced with the small 21. CGG is now dedicated for special occasions and the small 21..will probably be my dedicated BOB knife.

Checked USPS and my package arrived at my local post office 2 hours ago. I will wait patiently for the Postman tomorrow!

Looks like there are only 9 left! Which means they sold through 41 small insingo in 2 days....amazing!

Number 33 on the way!!!

Love my large and small sebbies, both w/ micarta inlays. Both users, especially the small which is with me ALMOST everywhere.

So you lucky fellas with your new exclusive numbered Insingo: how many will actually use it? Will it become your edc or join your rotation?

I'm kind of on the fence, so far I use all the knives I own. No safe queens here. On one hand I'd like to keep the Insingo new and perfect, be able to brag about being one of the lucky few to get a numbered edition. On the other hand, I'd like to use it like I use any other knife, let it get all banged up. Personally I like how the titanium handles look after several months of daily carry and use.

Most likely, I will edc it!

How about you guys?

Well I've been EDC-less for about a week after I gave my Mini CQC-7 to my cousin as a gift. So, the Insingo will be filling in on all my EDC duties.

I would have ordered one sooner but I only EDC 3" blades in the city so, I was quite pleased when I learned of their introduction!

Thanks again! :)

25-50 (#25) is here. It turned out very nice. Mine was born on 05/13/2010, which is exactly a week ago.

But, it is now on its way back to CRK to have an ambi thumb lug installed, and to have the blue anodized parts changed to silver anodized. My (un-numbered) large one is there right now for the same work, and both knives will be shipped back together.

Mine is here as well but I won't be able to drool on it until I get home from work.

Here is my famous waiting for the mailman shot.

At first the new box really threw me off.

Initial Impressions:

Seems like the fit on this one is better then my Small 21.
It has the new PB Bushings and screws!!!
It is way smoother then my 21 and is thumb flickable right out of the box!
I thought it was neat that we got a cloth for this knife. Really nice added touch!

I have mixed feelings about the "sharpened" swedge but I think it will work great for a fire steel or anything that needs to be scraped while the knife is closed.

Looks like 1 scale was made this year and the other last year. Anyone know how to read these dates?

I'm envious of you guys... Mine won't be here until tomorrow...:D

BTW how are you liking that G10 scale from Barry H? He currently
has my Lg. BM Skirmish making an orange one for me.

Congrats on that low #6 also, you must of acted fast!

Just got home from work and my #43 was waiting. This knife is amazing. I love that I can flick it open right out of the box. Beautiful and smooth. Gonna be kicking my small sebenza out of my pocket tomorrow.

I did have one problem though. The card that came with mine reads #42-50 instead of 43. I guess mine is in box #42. If you get it pm me and we can swap cards.

I really like the Barry H scale! I'm very tempted to swap it over to the Insingo but I want to keep the 06-50 on there. It really saves a lot of weight too if you saw the pic I posted with it on the scale. It saves 0.7 oz ...which is a huge difference. Right when I picked up the insingo I literally said out loud "WOAH this is heavy!"

Heres is the pic

As far as acting early my emails goes to my phone. The email hit my account at 8:57 AM on the 18th. My phone woke me up around 10 and as I checked the email I saw that it said the small insingo were in stock. I automatically called KnifeArt at 10:08 and placed my order. I had not even gotten out of bed yet...hah! :p

I'm going to put a peter r scale on my insingo after it comes in, I know it's a numbered
edition and all but I love the look and feel of that G10... Plus I can switch it back whenever.

It'll be interesting to see the Peter and Barry scales side by side. Both are top notch!

Great pics krazichinaman!! I have #29 that should be here tomorrow. Looks like a really nice design. I have a large Regular and small Classic Sebenza and a Snakewood Mnandi and this should give me a good selection EDC depending on my mood for the day.

This is the nicest knife I have ever owned. The Sebenza "hype" is very well deserved.

I will snap some photos later on.

Thanks!

#40-50 on the way. Doll Gone you guys. Makin' me...well gee ya know?
It's the Molsen talking.

I am really excited about this knife! I pulled the trigger late yesterday afternoon and ordered one. I have #48 on its way to me! It's a meaningful number to me, so I am pumped! I plan to use it as an EDC. krazichinaman, I can relate to your "watching for the mailman" shot! It made me laugh. I know my nose will be pressed against the window soon, looking for #48 to come. Enjoy 'em gang!

Got mine today, love the blade shape.

What's with the new screws? Looks like a lint and water trap...

Man, they only have two left at knifeart now. I'm glad I bought mine when I did.
