Who plans on BUYING the BF survival knife?

Need to get a count on who is SERIOUSLY interested in buying the BF survival knife. Again it may not be the BF survival knife,it may just be numbered, or it might say W&S on it. Need to get Sparks input before we do anything.

I'm sure someone here will be willing to make the knives for a reasonable price, but before we can even get that far, how many of you are interested?

I'm pretty much in regardless of which design is chosen. I like them all, and really like the idea of a forum conceived knife. The price range seems to sit below $150, and that's cool with me.

price is everything isn't it?
hard to commit to the unknown.
maybe we need a prototype.
 
I'm the extreme minority in this regard, but I've barely ever spent half the amount that this blade is looking to cost on a single blade before. If the price is 'decent' and the timing is right, I'd love it. I think the design will be great and the quality will be high. So, price and timing are a factor for me personally.
 
I could be interested, but like the other folks would need to know what it is and how much. :thumbup:

I'm in. Spark might go along if we donate some of the proceeds to BF to help further support the cause. Whata you guys think?
 
I'd say that I am 75% in. The big deciding factor will be the price. The design doesn't bother me so much, as I'm looking more at what the knife symbolizes or stands for, that being all of us here on BF W&S forum. I really don't think this project will generate a cruddy knife.
 
I'm with everyone else, depending on price and style. Both are prime considerations for me. I'm about 60% in. I also agree with an extra US$ 5.00-10.00 per knife for Sparks and BF.
 
Hell, count me in as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated all of you all. And though I'd like to lobby a sub $100 package, I haven't a foot on which to stand, as your enthusiasm and experience has inadvertantly sold me on preparing an increasingly expensive BOB with more redundant gadgets than I could ever hope to use much less need. Many of you are dangerous salesmen. Smile
 
If the design is something I'd like and the price doesn't put me off, then I'm in.

As things are going, I'd be surprised if these qualifications are met, and therefore I'd be surprised if I buy one.
 
I'd be in price depending of course. I like the idea of some portian going toward Bladeforums too. Can't wait to see what pops up :)
 
Well, It would be fun to have one so I might be in, more yes than no.
It would be great to see a picture of what it will look like (in theory). It feels so blurry with pictures up and down and different sizes and thicknesses and stuff.
Its a good thing that I am good at math, how much is 3/16" in mm and so on.
