Who plans on BUYING the BF survival knife?

what a guy NWA, I've seen some of your stuff, very nice! I'd also like to see what you were planning for here, I may also be interested mr craftsman! :)

NWA- Can't wait!! Even if you do not end up doing a Bladeforums knife I might just have to get in touch with you about one for myself!

Just got off the phone with Ken. Here is a link to the finished knives and pics of the sheath. http://www.ironwolfonline.com/images/bfblades/

Ken is gong to take some time to think on how best to take the orders. I might be helping him out with this, and may recruit a few to help out with this.

Ken mentioned that it will take around 2-4 months to complete the orders, and will send them out all at once so he is not having to camp out in the post office.

Also, we will come up with time limit (2-4 weeks seems fair) to get your deposit in (between $50-$75) so Ken can buy materials, and your order is a REAL one. One thing we do not want is too many people bailing out at $$$ time because it will screw up the donation $$$ for the stamp and Sparks knives. So make sure your confident about your order before you send your deposit in.

For you Scandi guys Ken will grind down the extended plunge to make it a flatter hilt.

Sheath will be leather, those of you that may want Kydex should contact Normark at onscenetactical for a custom kydex sheath. He is one of the best in the business.

More details to come tomorrow.

Those turned out great, that wood looks real sharp too. Since I started this whole mess :D let me know how I can help too.
The deposit sounds completely reasonable, and is standard on a special type order like this. This way we can get a solid head count, and will help with the numbering as well.

Hope we are talking about the same thing. I'm talking about bringing the plunge down closer to the handle so the ricasso area is smaller. Is that what you/he is taking me to mean?

The part about making it flatter is confusing me:confused:

I think we are talking about the same thing, a little more cutting edge, little to no ricasso before the bump

Ken
