Who still carries a Case Knife?

I just ordeted a red bone one in carbon steel. How handy is yours?
Very handy for me, at least. Feels like a larger knife than it really is until you put it in your pocket, and the handle shape fits my hand very well. The yellow one is the third I’ve gotten from this year’s run. F & F have been good on all three, and all three feel very solid.

Mine came. It is going right back. Very weak springs on both blades.

I'd say your experience is much more typical... I think he just got un-lucky with his purchase.
Based on the half dozen Case knives I’ve bought lately, I think you’re probably correct. I haven’t gotten any duds.

I think who ever is on the 25 line needs to be watched a little closer.. 🤔 Seems there are more than a few issues with these..👿
John:)

I have received three disappointing Case knives of late. A medium stockman with a sheepsfoot blade that was hitting the Spey blade upon closing, causing chips in the edge. Two medium stockmans with sheepsfoot blades with bellies because the sharpening was so poorly done. All of my recent Case knives (5 in total) have had burrs on multiple blades. The burrs aren’t a huge deal because the bevels are too obtuse for my preferred usage and were going to be sharpened immediately regardless.

I returned the Stockman with the blade being chipped upon closing, and will slowly sharpen out the belly over time on the other two.
