Who still carries a Case Knife?

I really like the look of those, the Big CASE is well suited to Micarta.

Anyone know if it's polished Micarta or matte?

Attending a customer Christmas Party tonight, their longest serving employee is retiring with 63 years service! He is the contact there that I have done business with for very nearly the last 40 years - sure going to miss dealing with him, old school gentleman. I think the magnitude of the event calls for me to carry my favorite ceremonial pocketknife, this 1992 Case 5318. I'm still going through my knife collection trying to pick the perfect retirement gift knife for him (might be a Case, a Buck, or a Schrade USA - I have contenders picked out from each brand). OH

Amber bone is my LEAST favorite of Case's colors.... but that one looks very nice. That looks like genuine "pocket worn".... and the color is like warm honey..... I like it. edit: something I thought I'd never ever say....
 
I’m not a huge fan of amber bone... but it’s growing on me.

I’m thinking of getting a mate to my current black 75. The mate must be carbon. But color is undecided. Maybe amber would be the right fit. It’s certainly available currently.

I got a couple of new Case XXs.

Firstly, the Case Black Sea Dichrolam Teardrop. This will be a user and I have already started using it.
I liked the covers and the shape though it is very tricky to photograph.

Excellent finish, good alignment at half stop, , OK blade centering, though the edge is a bit toothy.

I was expecting a bigger knife, for some reason, as the blade is only a bit longer than a peanut. There is empty space inside the handle.
