I don't know about on your Stockman but my Micarta Trapper & Copperlock had some sharper outside edges that weren't exactly comfortable. A little bit of hand buffing with fine sandpaper took care of that & they are much better now, just my 2¢.
I like the diamond shield btw 👍

The edges of the Micarta on my example are rounded/eased about the same as the bolsters.
The knife was a gift, however, so I can't (won't) say "Case did it.", since I don't know for sure. 😇
Agree the diamond shield "looks right".

I am pretty sure it is my favorite 4.25 inch Stockman ... that I have ... (the others are various Rough Rider's/Ryder's.)

I haven't decided yet if I like the 4.625" Schrade Old Timer 858 "Lumberjack" stockman more though. 🤔

Rough Ryder has come out with a couple Stockman even larger than the 858!!!🤯😳
They are on my "short list" ... 🙄

CASE calls this Micarta "Black and Green".
I only see black and browns. I guess either I become "color blind", OR CASE (or whoever manufactured the Micarta) "forgot" to put in the green dye.

Regardless, it is a fine knife. One of the eight (to date) strong contenders for my 2024 KOTA, to be honest.
(Yes. I "suspect" I will be unable to pick a single "winner" for my KOTA this year. 🤔🙄)

I know what you mean about the lack of green. It's the same on my examples. I found it greatly depends on the lighting. Sometimes it's actually green looking & others it's more brown 🤷‍♂️
Not a huge deal to me though. I think they still look great.

Here's a single blade Trapper & a Copperlock that are "Green" Micarta.
(Outside overcast lighting btw)
