I’ve got a user yellow synthetic CV medium Stockman on me today. Like those, it has some patina and a small amount of pitting but still cutting.
Edit: Please forgive the dirty kettle. It’s a 1998 and I think the neglect makes the food taste better.

I don't carry a knife in my pocket,I have my slip clipped to my pocket with a knife,I don't feel size really matters when it isn't sitting in the bottom of my pocket,I have a slip for knives in the 29 range and one for the 54 or 86 etc.i find I can easily have something else in my pocket at same time.
