Positive affirmation is always good! Thanks.
Grabbed a 6318 SS this morning. Spent yesterday morning shooting and fine tuning the sights on a 8x57mm, spending today measuring targets and entering the data in my dope books, a Medium Stockman is never a bad choice.

I just added this CV trapper to my collection. It has a huge gap between the show side cover and the end cap, the shield has a dent in it, and the main blade rubbed the liner pretty bad. I crinked the blade to the center position and I'll need to put a tip on the main blade (it's rounded), then it'll be just fine for me. I would like to see Case get their act together but at least I know what to expect from them and I can mostly fix their errors. A trapper with beautiful natural looking bone (other than amber bone) and CV blades has been on my want list for a long time, so in the end I'm happy.

Case stag Mini-Copperlock for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Gave this one to my Dad for Christmas in 2000, about 20 years later he gave it back to me, still new in the package. I started carrying it for Christmas, it’s a β€œwe knife” - we both owned it. He’s gone, but never forgotten. Merry Christmas folks!

This week I'm carrying a Case pen knife. I like it much better than a Case peanut - it's a half inch longer than a peanut, and that seems like a massive size difference to me in terms of daily utility.

Have you tried a small swell center jack? Only 1/8" larger than a peanut but feels much larger in the hand (to me, at least.)
