Grabbed a 6318 SS this morning. Spent yesterday morning shooting and fine tuning the sights on a 8x57mm, spending today measuring targets and entering the data in my dope books, a Medium Stockman is never a bad choice.

I just added this CV trapper to my collection. It has a huge gap between the covers and the bolster, the shield has a dent in it, and the main blade rubbed the liner pretty bad. I crinked the blade to the center position and I'll need to put a tip on the main blade (it's rounded), then it'll be just fine for me. I would like to see Case get their act together but at least I know what to expect from them and I can mostly fix their errors. A trapper with beautiful natural looking bone (other than amber bone) and CV blades has been on my want list for a long time, so in the end I'm happy.
