Who still carries a Case Knife?

Put me in the single clip blade camp Wharn. I love wharncliffe blades, but I’m not a fan of the ones on the Copperheads. It’s a single clip blade for me. 😊👍
Thank you! I’m trying decide what copperhead to pick up. I was leaning towards the clip/pen configuration but the single clip also caught my eye. I also figured I would have to grab a swayback wharncliffe for good measure.

My three amigos aka Bob, Stuart, and Kevin.

Seriously though, these three have been getting used the most. I know Case made some Tear Drops with a Wharncliffe, but I don't really like the handle choices. I won't be getting another Sway Back, it's just not for me. Still love the sawcut Amber Bone, looks and feels great IMHO. Maybe Case will do a Wharncliffe Sawcut Amber Bone Tear Drop this year. (psst... Case. Hint hint.) The Tear Drop and Barlow are still swapping pocket time and are what I've been grabbing when I throw a knife in the pocket.

If you guys can choose, do you prefer the single or two bladed copperhead?
Boy, that's a really tough call for me.
On one hand, I like the simplicity and slimness of the single blade.
On the other hand, I like the two blade for its versatility. Leaving one blade sharp in reserve.
I think I'd have to choose the two blade because Case doesn't seem to make enough Clip/Pen Jack knives.
In the long run, I had both, but gave them both away. I just wasn't a fan of the bulbous bolsters.

I just wanted to give an update since I posted this:
I am putting this out to the world, as I plan to change this in the new year. I am ashamed to say that I do not own a single case knife. I have gifted several but do not have one in the collection. This thread has me itching
Well I just want to start by saying that the porch is generally the friendliest place on the internet, hands down. But I did not expect what happened next. I had three fine gentlemen reach out to me, and tell me that they wanted to help start my Case collection.

First was paulhilborn paulhilborn . He was generous enough to send me 3 beautiful Case knives: a half whittler, punch stockman, and mini trapper which is just incredible. I have been bonding with them since they arrived, and I will treasure them.

Next Todd bigfish64 bigfish64 reached out to me, and told me he wanted to send me something. Then these two fine case knives arrived today:

Then JohnDF JohnDF reached out and wanted to do the same!!! I couldn’t, in good conscience, accept any more of the porch’s generosity, so I had to respectfully decline. But your kindness will not be forgotten.

I am just completely floored by how awesome the people here are, and I’ve opened my eyes to other brands than GEC. I will keep these knives, use them, and treasure them until I can’t anymore! Thank you so much Paul, Todd, and John. You guys really are incredible, and I feel honored to call you my friends. Now that I am a new Case collector, here is my prized lot! Thank you so much guys!!!

Canoes have always been my favorite pattern, and something special about the 70s era models. To my knowledge this one is the last year you could still get the canoe with a pinned shield. If anyone is aware of a modern case canoe with a pinned shield please let me know!
